WHY SUPPORT THE CENTER FOR ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL PARTNERSHIP?

HERE’S WHAT YOUR DONATIONS HELP FUND …

Since its start, the CEE Partnership has worked to build awareness and fill gaps in the effort to create a thriving and sustainable society.  We have worked with dozens of partners over the years and seen many programs to fruition, all in hopes of fostering greater collaboration and thus increasing the capacity of our region to combat climate change.

Today, we are focused on three strategies to address the Climate Crisis:

  1. Empowering community members to be part of the solution,

  2. Connecting and creating leaders, and

  3. Growing the green workforce — the technical experts, storytellers, and project managers — we will need to get us there.

We are working with more than 20 Hudson Valley community energy program partners to provide residents with low-cost 100% renewable NYS generated electricity. To-date, we’ve transitioned more than 50,000 homes and businesses in New York to being powered by 100% New York-generated clean electricity. As part of the effort, we’ve connected with more than 10,000 community members as an educational resource to help them understand how the energy economy works and how it affects them.

For nearly 10 years, our Green Drinks gatherings have been weaving the social fabric of the network of sustainability-minded citizens in the Hudson Valley. We are also working on a teams to optimize the understanding and use of existing New York State programs, accelerating the adoption of climate solutions across the state.

Our work plays a significant role in transforming the Sustainability landscape, particularly with our focus on developing the workforce we need to scale up and meet the challenge ahead of us. There is much work to be done — particularly in supporting the students and other early career professionals we are training and connecting with real-world experience.

To continue all of our work, we are counting on your help. Can you or your organization contribute to our efforts?
