
OUR ORGANIZATION
The Center for Economic and Environmental Partnership (CEEP) was founded in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit New York corporation by its current Chairman, Ira Rubenstein, then Executive Director of the Environmental Business Association of New York State, Inc. (EBANYS). The Center for Economic and Environmental Partnership was founded to fund and sponsor programs promoting development of an effective and competitive environmental industry to advance development of sound environmental business policies and programs in New York State and beyond. CEEP was created to provide a locus for business, environmentalists, and community members to collaborate and create a safe space for challenging conversations.
Mission
To catalyze and support the development and implementation of actionable strategies to achieve economic and environmental sustainability by partnering with local and state governments, communities, businesses, and educational institutions.
Vision
A world with a thriving, environmentally sustainable economy, where communities lead in the creation of a prosperous future for all.
We do this by
Catalyzing collaborative efforts among industry, government, trade organizations and associations, institutions of higher learning, and the public;
Sponsoring educational programs that advance the development and utilization of cutting-edge technologies, knowledge, and business practices related to environmental and equitable growth
Fostering processes that contribute to the formation and implementation of integrative and creative public policies.
