Buz is a business transaction and regulatory attorney focused on projects and enterprises in the competitive electric power industries in the United States, with experience across virtually all technologies in the renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy storage businesses. He was also Vice President and Co-Head of the Project Finance group of Citibank, N.A., and was a Managing Director of Marathon Capital, LLC, the leading renewable energy investment bank in the U.S.  Buz has authored numerous published articles, and, continuously since 1995, he has founded and chaired major national conferences for the competitive power industries, currently including the annual Infocast Projects & Money Conference (https://infocastinc.com/downloads/pm-2024-agenda.pdf (infocastinc.com)).  He has been a founder or Director of several energy-related enterprises, including Endur, Inc., Ice Energy, Inc., EtherMetrics LLC, E3 Greentech Enterprises, Maxim Power, USA, Inc., and PowerPhase, LLC. Buz was a Director of the New York Environmental Business Association, during which time he was a founder and host of the Energy and Environmental Funders Forum in NYC for CEEP.  He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.
